One of our well-known clients—Disney from Hong Kong—presented us with an exciting yet challenging project. They wanted to create a unique popsicle toy made of TPR (thermoplastic rubber) filled with water inside, giving it a realistic look and feel. However, there was one specific requirement that made this project particularly complex: the client insisted that when the popsicle is lifted, it must maintain its shape and not bend under its own weight.
Due to the inherent properties of TPR—soft yet elastic—and the additional weight of the water inside, this posed a significant challenge. Achieving the required stability without compromising the product’s soft texture demanded innovative thinking and extensive testing.
We were committed to finding a solution. Through a series of rigorous tests and continuous brainstorming sessions, we explored various possibilities. After numerous trials, we finally found a breakthrough. The key was to lengthen the stick and modify the internal structure of the popsicle. This involved reinforcing the internal structure so that the popsicle could provide sufficient support, ensuring it remains upright even when held from the bottom.
By extending the popsicle and optimizing its internal design, we successfully created a product that meets Disney’s stringent standards. Now, the popsicle can firmly support its top, maintaining the desired shape and functionality.
This project demonstrates our commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. When faced with challenges, we go all out to provide solutions. Just share your vision with us, and we’ll take care of the rest!
